APSystems ECU-C Energy Communication Unit (APS-ECU-C)

The APSystems ECU-C Energy Communication Unit acts as a central gateway for monitoring, storing, and sharing real-time performance data from each individual microinverter in your solar system. Accessible via the EMA web or mobile application, it provides per-panel energy management and performance tracking. This unit is compatible with both single-phase and three-phase microinverters. For three-phase systems, six split-core current transformers are required; for single-phase systems, two are needed. The ECU-C supports monitoring of up to 400 solar panels. It communicates with microinverters via stable, wireless encrypted ZigBee (2.4GHz) and offers built-in WiFi and Ethernet connectivity for data transmission. The compact unit can be installed indoors in a cool, dry location and features a user-friendly interface. It is supplied without CTs and comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Installation Guide

To set up the ECU-C, first connect the provided antennas. Choose an indoor wall location that remains cool and dry for installation. The unit is rated NEMA 1 (IP20) for indoor use.
