APsystems DS3-L Microinverter (APS-DS3-L-EU)
The APsystems DS3-L Microinverter provides a maximum AC output power of 730VA, positioning it as a highly capable Duo Microinverter for residential and commercial use. This single-phase unit incorporates two independent MPPT channels (2 MPPT 2 IN) to maximize energy production from each panel. The input voltage range is designed to handle large panels, and the microinverter features Encrypted Zigbee Communication for secure data monitoring. An integrated VDE Relay and Reactive Power Control (RPC) work together with the power grid to manage voltage fluctuations efficiently. Silicon coating on the internal electronics reduces stress, enhances watertightness, and improves thermal dissipation. The DS3-L carries an IP67 rating and uses MC4 connectors.
Installation Steps
Prior to installing the APS-DS3-L-EU, confirm that the mains voltage is compatible with the microinverter’s rated voltage. Start by wiring the conductors of the AC port, then mount the microinverter onto the rack. Earthing is accomplished via the PE wire integrated into the Y3 AC port cable. Attach the inverter to the AC port cable and install the protective cap. Finally, connect the solar panels and then connect the microinverter to the mains.
