Alfen Load Balancing Active Configuration
The Alfen Load Balancing Active configuration is designed to prevent overloading your power network by intelligently managing charging currents. This feature is available through Alfen’s comprehensive configuration options, which can be applied locally using the ACE Service Installer or remotely via the back office.
Installation Requirements
To use the Load Balancing Active function, you must:
- Connect a data cable to the P1 port of the charging station.
- Ensure the charging station is installed no more than 20 metres away from the smart meter.
This setup allows the charging station to communicate with the smart meter and adjust power usage dynamically.
